What populations do you work with?
Our main area of focus is trauma. We have a special interest in working with first responders, veterans, and parents. At this time, we are not working with children under the age of 15.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! We are in network with BCBS, Wellmark, VA community care, Aetna, United Healthcare, Health Partners, and in the process of adding more. If you don’t see your insurance plan listed, please feel free to ask about it.
what if you don’t take my insurance?
We will happily work with you at a self pay rate of $100 per session. If we’re out of network for your insurance, we can also provide you with a superbill.
What can I expect at my first session?
In the first session, you can expect to start getting to know each other. We have to ask a whole lot of questions and lightly torture you with some paperwork to gather background information and help create a clear understanding of policies.
Do you offer telehealth services?
Yes, if it is appropriate for your needs, telehealth sessions are an option. However, you must be in a private location within the state of Iowa and cannot be driving during the session.
